Travel outside Oslo and Rotterdam is billed at cost, and we send the receipts. Audit fees are credited at 50% against a Project booked within three months.

What moves a Project fee

Sites or products: Each extra site adds 15 to 25%, depending on its size
Languages: $6,000 per added language, including checks by a native reader
Test rounds: Two are included; each extra round is $9,500
Custom typeface: From $38,000 for two weights with full language support
Data cleaning: Quoted after the data audit, never guessed
Travel: At cost, by train where it takes under eight hours

Questions about money

Q.01Why fixed fees and not hourly rates?

Because the risk of our estimate should be ours. If a project takes longer than we quoted, that's our cost unless the scope changed in writing.

Q.02What happens if the scope changes halfway?

We write a one-page change note with the cost and the new end date. Nothing changes until you sign it, and we never start the extra work early.

Q.03Can we pay in NOK or EUR?

Yes. The quote is fixed in the currency you choose on signing, so exchange rates don't move the fee.

Q.04Do you work for equity or a share of savings?

No. Our clients are mostly public bodies and foundations, and a fee that depends on the outcome would change what we tell them.

Q.05Who owns the work?

You do, on final payment: designs, code, data and any typeface we drew for you. We keep the right to show the work, which you can veto in the contract.
